Pots to Paterson

All of the current pottery was moved to the old apartment with Marshall until I have a proper place to store them or have a one man show.  This is making way for the future graduate work I will create but also leave the studio more clean as well.  Below are some LQ photos of the pots at City and in New Jersey.

Bracket Fungus

I always called them shelf lichen or bacteria but they are bracket fungus, the forms I have made on the wheel and attached to the pots always remind me of these fungi, and I want to begin to color them more like the real deal when working with white clay.  One kind that is really gorgeous is turkey tail or "ortrametes versicolor."

Incredible!  I cant wait to begin working on these which I will try and incorporate onto the pot as well.
