I really enjoy this work, the last two pots with their female figures on them, did not connect with the pottery, they were either "on it" "sitting inside it" and both were not really connected to it, the gentle curving motion of the arms around the entrance is important for this connection to be made and this work has it. Its also the simplest composition that I have created lately, the birds anchoring the work, and negative space of the raw pot being left surrounding the figure on purpose. I quite like the simplicity of design, simply a floral wreath of sorts.
